Known for putting customers at the heart of the industry, the British Bank Awards establishes the best products, innovations and most trusted financial brands, decided by the customers themselves. Specifically, the 'Best Business Finance Provider' award shines a light on the banks and alternative lenders who have best addressed the needs of small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Fleximize, an alternative provider of finance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has been crowned 'Best Business Finance Provider' at the British Bank Awards 2018. In particular, the lender has been recognized for its attention to customer service quality and SME-focused initiatives.
Peter Tuvey, co-founder and CEO of Fleximize, said: “We’ve had a fantastic start to 2018, and winning this award is testament to the hard work of the whole team. Our customers are the backbone of our success, and this award, voted for by them, has given us a huge amount of confidence for the future.”
Fleximize recently closed a funding facility of £16.3 million from Hadrian’s Wall Secured Investments and has lent over £65 million to SMEs in the UK since launching in 2014, with half of this lent in 2017. In the last twelve months, the company has rolled out its secured product and substantially increased its lending capacity, as it looks to take its lending to SMEs past £100 million this year.
